Industrial Business Advisory Council: Call for Nominations
New York City’s industrial sector is an integral part of the City’s economy that has faced serious challenges in recent decades, but now offers real opportunities for growth and development. We’re now seeking candidates for a new Industrial Business Advisory Council, which will consist of individuals with a variety of expertise pertaining to New York City’s industrial sector. This Council will provide a forum for feedback on the City’s industrial policies and programs, including financing, incentives, regulatory mechanisms, and land use. We are seeking 15 individuals for the Council, to be filled primarily by business owners, and up to five seats for key industrial stakeholders with expertise such as industrial sector advocacy, real estate development or leasing, and union affiliation or policy.
