NYCEDC today announced that 13 promising New York City-based food manufacturers have been awarded scholarships for the Crain’s Made In New York event on Thursday, October 23, hosted by Crain’s New York Business and Taste NY.
This innovative business accelerator program, operated in partnership with SBS, NYCHA, Citi and Hot Bread Kitchen, empowers NYCHA residents to start and grow food businesses as part of New York City’s efforts to support entrepreneurs across communities.

The New York City Economic Development Corporation today hosted the second annual New York City Food Manufacturers Business Expo. Featuring an estimated 200 businesses from around New York City, the Expo provided local food manufacturers the opportunity to meet brokers, buyers, distributors, suppliers and industry experts and aims to help food manufacturers gain a competitive advantage and grow their businesses.
