The Bronx Business Bridge is part of NYCEDC’s Low Income Fast Track Entrepreneurship Program (LIFT), designed to connect New Yorkers from low-income neighborhoods with opportunities to grow their business and help alleviate key challenges that prevent many from moving up the economic ladder. The Bronx Business Bridge Incubator provides approximately 30 flexible workstations and conference room space to premier start-ups and small businesses. The incubator hosts a suite of services fine-tuned to help guide entrepreneurs towards success.

Groundbreaking for Retail Development at Broadway Plaza in the Bronx

NYCEDC and Bronx Borough President Ruben Diaz, Jr. announced the groundbreaking of a 133,000-square-foot retail development at Broadway Plaza in the Bronx, which will activate an approximately 80,000-square-foot site located along the Broadway retail corridor.

Kingsbridge Armory

Kingsbridge Armory in the Bronx, which has been vacant since 1996 and occupies a full City block, will be redeveloped into a 750,000-square-foot ice sports facility to be known as Kingsbridge National Ice Center (KNIC). Kingsbridge National Ice Center will feature nine year-round indoor ice rinks, including a 5,000-seat feature rink for major ice hockey and skating events.
