The NYC Development Finance Conference is an annual event that brings together not-for-profits, developers, lenders and other industry experts to discuss tools for innovative economic development throughout the five boroughs.
2014 NYC Development Finance Conference
NYCEDC hosted the 2014 NYC Development Finance Conference on Wednesday, November 5, at Four World Trade Center. The signature event was designed to focus on tools and strategies needed for economic development in all five boroughs of New York City.
The Conference was highlighted by opening remarks from NYCEDC President Kyle Kimball, a morning keynote on the de Blasio Administration’s economic development priorities by Deputy Mayor for Housing and Economic Development Alicia Glen, and an afternoon keynote on the current and future state of housing from Vicki Been, Commissioner of the Department of Housing Preservation and Development. Additionally, the day included nationally-recognized speakers and panelists from top public and private institutions in the development industry, discussing key issues including attracting capital, innovative tax credit projects, housing development, infrastructure investment, and the City’s industrial landscape.
