Join us for an Informational Session at the Community Board 13 Board meeting at Coney Island Hospital.
NYCEDC is constructing new sanitary sewers, storm sewers and watermains in the Coney West sub-district of Coney Island. NYCEDC has submitted a permit application to New York State Department of Environmental Conservation (DEC) Region 2 Office requesting authorization of these discharges under a State Pollutant Discharge Elimination System (SPDES) permit. This meeting is being held in order to conform with DEC Commissioner’s policy CP-29, Environmental Justice and Permitting. This session will include an informational presentation regarding the permit application submitted by NYCEDC, followed by an opportunity to ask questions and provide comments related to the permit application.
