NYCEDC, in partnership with CE WEEK hosted the City’s first ever “10 Under 20 Awards", where ten students under the age of twenty were lauded for their achievements in technology and innovation
On April 25th, Google, NYCEDC, and UbiTech.co joined forces to host the first-ever “moonshot” design sprint in New York City. The event, held at Google’s Chelsea Market location, sought to harness the global scale, creativity, and technological implications of moonshots in order to tackle New York City’s greatest challenges.
NYCEDC is proud to present the “10 Under 20: Young Innovators to Watch” award in partnership with CE Week NY. This award will recognize ten students between the ages of 13 and 19 years old who have displayed exceptional potential by developing an innovative project with a civic use that can improve the lives of New Yorkers.
Etsy and Virtu Financial began trading on the Nasdaq today. But they are not the only New York City-based tech companies that have recently achieved high valuations.
