As the borough's first food and beverage trade show, Brooklyn Eats! showcased Brooklyn-based food manufacturers and businesses at 630 Flushing Avenue, the former Pfizer building which now houses a large cluster of artisanal food manufacturers.
Food manufacturing boasts the largest share and biggest growth of manufacturing jobs in Brooklyn. Since the end of the recession in 2009, food manufacturing employment in Brooklyn has grown over 3% and the number of food manufacturing establishments has grown almost 12%.
