2013 Israel to NYC Finalists Announced
NYCEDC and the US Israel Business Council (USI) are proud to announce the 2013 Israel to NYC delegation. Israel to NYC is a 3-day program for selected Israeli startups to meet investors and learn how to launch their US expansion in New York City.
14 organizations were chosen from a pool of over 150 applicants. They come from a range of sectors within digital media and advertising, enterprise, and e-commerce.
Some of the innovative companies participating include:
- Curiyo: A 1-click, online information discovery tool to satisfy reader curiosity. Curiyo brings the user quick, on demand, dynamic information from top publishers, social networks, and bloggers.
- Augury Systems: Like the music ID application “Shazam,” but for engines. By listening to machines, it can diagnose problems and predict future failures. Connect off-the-shelf acoustic sensors to smartphones and leverage big data and machine learning algorithms to diagnose the machine in real-time.
- Brayola: Beauty comes in ALL sizes, ages, and colors. Brayola’s mission is to help women everywhere find their perfect bra fit and feel beautiful! Powered by a unique combination of powerful platform and community, Brayola leverages big data and crowd sourcing to achieve the perfect fit.
We are excited to welcome the CEOs and founders of these early-stage Israeli tech firms to New York City on October 7. Learn more about the 11 other organizations participating by visiting Israel to NYC.
