Indiewalls

Indiewalls  is creating the largest national chain of art exhibition spaces, by pairing local artists with local venues, such as hotels, restaurants, and high-end cafes. The driving philosophy of the company is that artists are perpetually looking for ways to gain exposure, and local venues benefit from exhibiting original artwork from those artists. The Indiewalls model benefits all parties: the artists get to reach new audiences, the venues get regularly changing, high-quality artwork for their walls, and buyers get the opportunity to see and buy beautiful local artwork everywhere they go. The Indiewalls online platform is the central hub of activity -- where venues find art for exhibition, and artists promote and sell their work to new buyers. Additionally, we automatically generate labels with a QR code that we place beneath each piece, allowing consumers to snap the code and purchase the art directly from the venue using their phone or computer. Our aim is to use the Indiewalls e-commerce platform to turn public spaces in a cross between physical and virtual galleries for ten of thousands of artists across the country.

nrelate

We started nrelate because we wanted to find great hidden Op-Ed content in the blogosphere. We matched the current headlines from big news sites with the commentary that bloggers were posting, and had our initial site up and running. We soon realized the tools we developed for bringing the top articles and web commentary into one place could be adapted, built upon, and applied to many different types of content sites. From this seed, nrelate was born. Our main goal is to bring value to everyone who installs or interacts with our software. We want our publishers to see higher traffic rates. We want advertisers to be able to know exactly what they are getting in terms of targeting and ROI. Also, most importantly, we want the visitors to these sites to be exposed to great content and advertising that speaks to them. Now up and running on 1,000s of content sites, we are developing plugins and products to help any online publisher, advertiser, or site visitor get the most out of their online experience.
