Searching for a rewarding career in NYC? There could be a position waiting for you at NYCEDC. ›
NYCEDC, together with partners in the City of New York, is implementing programs to provide communities with resources to address a wide range of business and economic development needs following Hurricane Sandy. The aftermath of the storm clearly demonstrated the dedication of the city’s workforce and the perseverance of New Yorkers to recover and rebuild. Through the federal Community Development Block Grant-Disaster Recovery program, funds have been made available to help businesses recover and ensure long-term economic growth in areas impacted by Sandy.
The NYC Business Recovery & Resiliency programs include low-interest loans and expedited grants, funding opportunities for flood protection measures and innovative technologies that improve resiliency, and other critical community and development efforts to foster economic growth.
NYC Business Recovery & Resiliency programs are funded by the Community Development Block Grant-Disaster Recovery program. Funds are contingent on NYCEDC receiving funding from the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development as a subrecipient.
