NYCEDC, on behalf of the City, has worked with relevant City agencies, local elected officials and community stakeholders to propose a mixed-use program for the Charleston Municipal Site - an approximately 60-acre City-owned property located in Charleston, Staten Island. Responding to the needs of the local community, of Staten Island, and of the City, the proposed development will include a new park, senior housing, a public school, a library branch, retail and the mapping of an improved Englewood Avenue.
