NYC Artist Studio
NYCEDC, in partnership with Chashama, has made available almost 40,000 square feet of artist studios. Located at the Brooklyn Army Terminal in Sunset Park, emerging artists can access studio space in a variety of sizes.
Incubator Overview
NYCEDC has established a pilot incubator program in the arts working with chashama, an organization created to connect artists with vacant real estate at subsidized rates.
We facilitated an expansion of the organization’s studio capacity at the Brooklyn Army Terminal to include approximately 50,000 square feet of affordable space for more than 95 artists.
