Lower Manhattan Relocation and Employment Assistance Program
Relocation tax credit up to $3,000 per job for 12 years for eligible businesses that relocate to the eligible area of Lower Manhattan from outside NYC (LMREAP-EB) and eligible businesses that relocate from within NYC (LMREAP-SEB)
This program offers a $3,000 per employee business tax credit for firms relocating jobs to Lower Manhattan. Businesses must also make improvements to the premise. Eligible businesses apply for the Certificate of Eligibility within the year of relocation and provide computation for the number of employees annually for the certification to submit with the applicable tax returns.
