Fashion Draft NYC
Hosted by Parsons, Fashion Draft NYC is a talent recruitment program that aims to connect business-minded college seniors with management-track positions at some of NYC’s top fashion firms, including Macy’s, Bloomingdale’s, Gilt Groupe, and LF USA.
Fashion Draft NYC 2012
Submissions have closed for Fashion Draft NYC 2012. This year’s program will take place from February 16th-18th, 2012. Select students will be provided with an all-expense-paid trip to NYC and will interview for full-time jobs in fashion business. In addition to the interviews, exciting events will include:
- A keynote address
- Company tours that provide a behind-the-scenes look at the industry
- A networking dinner with fashion executives and human resources managers
The deadline to apply was November 3rd, 2011. The contest was open to undergraduate seniors on track to graduate in Spring 2012 with at least a 3.5 GPA and one or more completed internships relevant to business and/or fashion. Program Overview
Fashion Draft NYC builds on the success of Fashion Campus NYC, an annual weekend immersion in fashion and retail management for college interns. Fashion Draft NYC and Fashion Campus NYC are two of six initiatives resulting from Mayor Bloomberg’s Fashion.NYC.2020, an ongoing examination of the challenges facing the fashion industry to help the City build on its competitive advantages to maintain its status as a global fashion capital.
