Entrepreneur Space is a City-sponsored business incubator in Queens to help food-related and general business start-ups across New York City.
Located at 36-46 37th Street in Long Island City, the incubator consists of a 5,000-square-foot commercial kitchen, with 4 kitchen stations and storage facilities, which is open to new or growing food manufacturers, caterers, and bakers 24 hours a day. Additionally, the incubator has 7,000 square feet of workspace, consisting of workstations and private suites, to provide food or other businesses with affordable and flexible back-office workspace. The incubator is intended to serve more than a 100 entrepreneurs in establishing and growing successful companies. NYCEDC provided a $170,000 grant to help establish the incubator.
Classroom facilities and conference rooms will also be available to non-profit organizations. Clients will have access to business counseling, technical assistance, and networking opportunities. Entrepreneur's Space is operated by the Queens Economic Development Corporation in cooperation with premier food industry consultant Katherine Gregory and her company, Mi Kitchen es su Kitchen.
Entrepreneur Space is a partnership between the Queens Economic Development Corporation and Mi Kitchen es Su Kitchen. Funded through NYCEDC, this innovative incubator provides a home to emerging businesses and organizations seeking offices, a commercial kitchen and/or classroom and meeting space. Clients can also receive business counseling, technical assistance, and networking opportunities, all at a reasonable cost.
Tours of Entrepreneur Space include viewing the fully furnished offices and workstations are available by appointment. Please call 718 392-0025 to schedule. Office and workstations are available on a short term basis for up to three years. You will also visit the commercial kitchen, which is open 24/7 on a shift basis.
