Steeplechase Plaza

Construction on Steeplechase Plaza, a 2.2-acre public open space which will serve as the western entryway to the revitalized Coney Island, began November 10, 2011. Once the plaza is completed, visitors will be able to enter the amusement area by walking directly underneath the landmarked Parachute Jump.
