DeKalb Market

It’s like a giant LEGOLAND® full of delights, it's the new DeKalb Market! The market opened on July 23, 2011 and is made up of 22,160-square-foot brightly colored shipping containers housing a collection of food, clothing, and other retailers in Downtown Brooklyn. There is also a tented area with tables and benches for relaxing and eating, and the space includes an events and performance venue. Dekalb Market was also named one of ten winners of the 2012 Public Design Commission’s 30th Annual Awards for Excellence in Design.
