Construction firms are broadly defined as organizations that offer labor and materials to build, rehabilitate, renovate, alter, demolish, seal, repair, or improve property.
Professional services firms are broadly defined as organizations that offer the following services:
Planning, Engineering, Architectural, Design, Drafting, Construction management, Data processing, Accounting, Legal, Surveying, Mapping, Site conditions testing, Title search and insurance, Feasibility and market analysis, Risk management, Economic impact analysis, Environmental impact analysis, and Appraisal services

Please submit your company's primary contact information so that we may reach out to you if there are any issues with your application and to notify you of new opportunities to work with NYCEDC as they arise.
Please identify your company's trades by selecting all relevant NIGP (National Institute of Governmental Purchasing) codes from the drop-down menu called "Add New NIGP Code" in the "Type of Business" section of our vendors list application.
You must click "Add Code" for each code and sub-code that accurately describes what your company does. Your selections will then appear in the section just below the drop-down menu.
NYCEDC is committed to helping Minority, Women-owned, and Disadvantaged businesses (MWD) to expand and grow through our Opportunity M/W/DBE program, which is comprised of services and resources available to both certified and self-identified M/W/DBEs.

After you have submitted your electronic vendors list application, we request that you submit hard copies of the following materials:
Please mail a summary of projects you have worked on over the last three years. If applicable, please include a portfolio of recent projects to give NYCEDC a good idea of the kind of work that your company has done in the past.
Please mail supporting documentation showing a summary of projects you have worked on over the last three years, along with brochures, photographs or samples of completed work that will give NYCEDC a sense of your company's capabilities.

After submitting your application, you will immediately receive an email confirming the receipt of your application and an outline of next required steps.
If you do not receive the confirmation email, please make sure the email was not stopped by a spam filter. Please note that we are not able to assist with sender address verification. If you did not receive your confirmation email, please call the NYCEDC Contracts Hotline at 212.312.3969 for further assistance.
If we encounter any problems with your application, we will contact you using the contact details that you provided in the application form.
Upon receipt of the requested supporting documentation, you will receive a final email confirming that you are on the NYCEDC Vendors List.
Once you are on our Vendors List, you will automatically receive email notifications inviting you to learn more about opportunities available in your field of expertise.
