La Marqueta Plaza

Located along Park Avenue between 112th and 116th Streets in East Harlem under the elevated Metro-North railroad tracks, La Marqueta was at one time a vibrant marketplace with some 300 vendors. The Public Plaza is a 10,000 sf fenced open plaza that slopes up and extends from 115th Street to 116th Street under the Metro North viaduct.
The Plaza has power and lighting. In addition, directly two blocks to the south is an empty lot that can be used for parking and loading. A loading dock and four other points of entry offer excellent accessibility.
