Accounting

Provides timely, accurate and meaningful financial information and advice to NYCEDC and its related entities. Consistently demonstrating fiscal responsibility, the department also promotes the efficient use and stewardship of resources in compliance with laws, regulations and reporting requirements.

Administration Services

Handles all daily needs of NYCEDC, including delivering mail, photocopying, maintaining office supplies, managing car services and providing general maintenance of office space and equipment. The department manages NYCEDC's fleet of vehicles and is responsible for security issues, including fire and safety, and the maintenance of cellular devices.

Budget

Partners with NYCEDC departments and City agencies to lead in financial planning, analysis and accountability, with a commitment to service, strategic investments and transparency.

Compliance

Oversees certain NYCEDC and all NYCIDA Agreements, ensuring compliance with State and Local laws requiring detailed Annual Reporting. The department also manages and populates NYCEDC’s company-wide project compliance database.

Contracts

Grants

Helps NYCEDC obtain and manage outside project funding from the federal and state government and other non-City sources.

Human Resources

Serves as a strategic business partner to all divisions of NYCEDC.  The department recruits and retains top talent, develops training and performance management initiatives and supports employees in achieving organizational goals

Management of Information Systems (MIS)

Seeks to align information technology (IT) with the goals and objectives of the organization, dispenses technical services and contributes to the strategic direction of NYCEDC. The department does this by keeping the infrastructure and environment in-step with technology, moving the software development to SOA (Service Oriented Architecture), integrating GIS into our software development process and working with external agencies on their IT needs.
