Fun.

NYCEDC is a highly creative and collaborative company with so many smart and engaging people and projects. It’s impossible not to get sucked in!
What is your favorite project you’ve worked on?
I’ve been fortunate to work on a number of great projects. The JFK Air Cargo Study, and East River Waterfront Esplanade, for example.
What is one of your most memorable/funniest moments from working at NYCEDC?
My direct report’s reaction to me cold calling executive management at the Parks Department for a research assignment…on my first day.
Where did you grow up?
Montgomery County, Maryland.
Where do you live in the City? What do you love about your neighborhood?
Yorkville in Manhattan. I love that I have a terrific fruit and vegetable store on one corner and an amazing meat market on the other.

By feet and by rail.
What is your favorite lunch spot near NYCEDC?
The Pump at Pearl St. and Pine St.
What would people find you doing on the weekends?
Shooting hoops in Central Park, taking friends for a ride on the East River Ferry, enjoying a caipirinha and some samba in Williamsburg. Or, less likely, sleeping.
Mets or Yankees?
Neither. The Knicks.
Who do you follow on Twitter?
@BoweryPresents has the scoop on live concerts around the City, @theLmagazine to help set my weekend itinerary, and @TheOnion for comic relief.
Why did you move to New York City? Or if you’re from here, why did you decide to stay?
New York City is the gateway to the world, and exposed me to cultures and experiences that one doesn’t necessarily get anywhere else. Plus, there’s always live music playing somewhere.
What’s your favorite place in the City?
The new East River Waterfront Esplanade in Lower Manhattan.
