BOWNE & COMPANY

We're happy to take this opportunity to contribute to the revitalization of Lower Manhattan, the financial capital of the world. For nearly 230 years, we have served our clients with great integrity and pride. By returning Downtown, we are going back to our roots and will be closer to many of our clients. And we're pleased to say that even those clients not located Downtown will find us more accessible than ever before.

BUSINESS NEED
Bowne & Co., is the world's largest financial printer, was seeking a more accessible space for its customers in the financial and professional services markets. The new location would require technological infrastructure for round-the-clock operations of more than 400 employees.
SOLUTION
NYCEDC supported Bowne & Co.’s move into a new 200,000 square foot Downtown Manhattan office space at 55 Water Street. The building recently underwent a major renovation that enhanced its technology capabilities and provided Bowne with the client amenities and access they were seeking. A location in New York City's Financial District allows Bowne & Co. to return to Downtown Manhattan, where they opened their first office in 1775.
