INTERNATIONAL
AGATHA RUIZ DE LA PRADA

I love New York City for its diversity, its vibrancy, its electricity and its eclectic nature. We are very pleased to be here, and are now also looking for showroom space. There is no better U.S. city to gain recognition, which will help us expand our brand name into the rest of the U.S. market.

Agatha Ruiz de la Prada, Designer

BUSINESS NEED
Agatha Ruiz de la Prada, the Spanish designer, is well known in Spain for her offbeat, colorful style. Among other items, she develops clothing, shoes, furniture and stationery. As she began expanding into several European cities, she felt it was also time to establish a presence in the U.S. market. She considered many U.S. locations and eventually chose New York City as her primary location.
SOLUTION
Realizing one effective way to gain acceptance in the U.S. market was to establish a NYC presence, Agatha Ruiz de la Prada established her first retail store in the Soho area of New York City. She was able capitalize on the thriving fashion and beauty industries in New York City and secured a location among several cutting edge labels and designers. She has plans to expand her American market to other U.S. cities in the future and has been pleased with her decision to set up shop in NYC.
