PROGRAM DESCRIPTION
Procurement Outreach Program (POP) works to assist New York City businesses develop the tools and expertise to identify and successfully bid on Federal, State and City contracting opportunities. The program is designed to provide a brief initial counseling session, review clients’ products or services and assess their chances of becoming successful contractors.

ELIGIBILITY & TIPS
GENERAL ELIGIBILITY
Industrial manufacturers and regional commercial distributors are encouraged to contact the Procurement Outreach Program. POP has had success with wholesalers, factory-authorized dealers and distributors to Fortune 500 clients.
TIPS
Retail stores, home sales, catalog sales, manufacturer representatives and brokers are unlikely to win government contracts. Construction firms are not covered.
