FINANCING

NYCEDC encourages economic development throughout the five boroughs by facilitating private investment. We have helped hundreds of businesses including small industrial and manufacturing companies and not-for-profit organizations to undertake capital expansions in New York City and to become more competitive by expanding their existing operations.

Our financing opportunities provided through the New York City Industrial Development Agency include issuing lower-cost tax-exempt bonds and providing tax benefits to acquire or improve capital assets, such as purchasing real estate, constructing or renovating facilities, and acquiring new equipment.

In addition, NYCEDC can introduce your business to energy saving programs that can help your business operate more efficiently and productively. We also assist businesses in identifying other tax reductions, credits, and incentives available for business development and investments throughout New York City.

When possible, NYCEDC financing staff will help walk your business through financing programs or put your business in touch with an agency that can offer more assistance.
