POLICE MUSEUM

In the winter 2005, NYCEDC completed the relocation of the police museum from 25 Broadway to the former first precinct house at 100 Old Slip.

  • Completed Winter 2002
  • $4 million approximate total cost
  • Located at 100 Old Slip, the first precinct house
The project included new power and lighting systems, selective demolition for new mechanical and electrical chases, upgraded life-safety systems and signage. The Police Museum collection, primarily law enforcement artifacts, was also updated and reconfigured to fit its new location.
