In the spring of 2001, NYCEDC coordinated the reconstruction of Greenwich Street from Hubert to Chambers Street in Manhattan.

PROJECT HIGHLIGHTS
  • Borough: Manhattan
  • Completed Spring 2001
  • $3.5 million total cost
  • Widened sidewalks
  • New street-side amenities
The sidewalks were widened and landscaping was updated to enhance the pedestrian experience and make the area more accessible. Construction elements included street/roadway rehabilitation, street lighting, traffic signals, water and sewer main work and street-side amenities.
