COMPLETED PROJECTS

Ares Printing & Packaging
In 2004, Ares Printing & Packaging bought 175,000 square feet of underutilized property in College Point Corporate Park in Queens.
Battery Maritime Building
In Spring 2005, NYCEDC completed the renovation of the Battery Maritime Building to prepare the space for further development.
Bricktown Centre at Charleston
In 2005, NYCEDC closed on the sale of a 42-acre site in southern Staten Island to create a new retail center there.
East New York Industrial Business Zone
Since 1997, NYCEDC has played a major role in revitalizing the 100-acre East New York Industrial Business Zone in Brooklyn.
Greenwich Street Improvements
In Spring 2001, NYCEDC coordinated the reconstruction of Greenwich Street from Hubert to Chambers Street in Manhattan.
Harlem Auto Mall
In March 2006, the Harlem Auto Mall opened in uptown Manhattan, stimulating private investment in the area and generating around 175 permanent jobs.
Keyspan Ballpark
In Summer 2001, NYCEDC completed the Keyspan Ballpark project, home to the minor league Brooklyn Cyclones.
Pepsi-Cola Bottling Company of New York
In March 2006, NYCEDC and Pepsi announced plans for a new distribution facility in the Zerega Industrial Business Zone in the Bronx.
Police Museum
In Winter 2005, NYCEDC completed the relocation of the police museum from 25 Broadway to the former first precinct house at 100 Old Slip.
Staten Island Railroad Reactivation
In Spring 2006, NYCEDC completed the coordination of the Staten Island Railroad Reactivation, including 6500 feet of new track along Travis Beach.
Whitehall Ferry Terminal
In Spring 2005, NYCEDC completed capital improvements on the Whitehall Ferry Terminal in Lower Manhattan.
