AREA MAINTENANCE PROGRAM SERVICES

NYCEDC provides services not otherwise available in Industrial Business Zones (IBZ). Area Maintenance Program services include: Clearing and fencing vacant lots Street cleaning Façade painting Sidewalk replacement Cleaning out and/or sealing up City-owned buildings Landscaping Minor concrete work Carpentry These services contribute to the vitality of the surrounding residential and business communities, strengthening the overall economic conditions in these designated areas.

REQUESTING AREA MAINTENANCE SERVICES

AREA MAINTENANCE STIMULATES DEVELOPMENT

The Area Maintenance Program has improved hundreds of City-owned vacant lots. These refurbished properties are often sold to the private sector for further development, stimulating economic growth.
