SUMMARY

New York City Economic Development Corporation (NYCEDC) is seeking Statements of Qualifications from qualified developers in connection with the proposed redevelopment of the Willets Point District (the “District”) in Queens, New York. The purpose of this Request for Qualifications (“RFQ”) is to solicit SOQs from prospective developers to help achieve the City’s redevelopment goals for Willets Point by transforming the District from a largely underutilized site with substandard conditions and substantial environmental degradation into a lively, mixed-use, sustainable community and regional destination. NYCEDC plans to select a consultant on the basis of factors stated in the RFQ which include, but are not limited to: the quality of the proposal, experience of key staff identified in the proposal, experience and quality of any subcontractors proposed, demonstrated successful experience in performing services similar to those encompassed in the RFQ, and the proposed fee.

SUBMISSION REQUIREMENTS

The RFQ is available for in-person pick-up between 9:30 a.m. and 4:30 p.m., Monday through Friday, from NYCEDC, 110 William Street, 6th floor, New York, NY (between Fulton & John streets).
