The Comprehensive Citywide Ferry Study will provide the information and analysis required to make planning, policy, and budgetary decisions regarding the future of waterborne recreational and commuter passenger transportation.
The study, which will include an analysis of over 40 ferry landing sites identified by NYCEDC, NYCDOT, the City Council, and by the public, will evaluate the potential of each site to support commuter and/or recreational ferry service and determine operating models for those most likely to support successful ferry service.
