ADDF) employs a venture philanthropy model to accelerate drug discovery for Alzheimer's disease and related dementias. To date, ADDF (and its affiliate, the Institute for the Study of Aging (ISOA), a private foundation founded by the Estèe Lauder family in 1998) has
awarded more than $33 million to over 240 research programs worldwide. They have also invested over $7M in 33 biotechnology companies which have received follow-on commitments of over $1B.
